FIFI World Cup Viewing

Been a busy week with Primary Races in several states
Now I have time to focus on the next big event in the world
What is the best way to be able to watch and keep track of the various matches going in the World Cup

I have Spectrum cable provider, which includes several streaming apps, one being Fox one which is the official WC streamer.

This WC will be much easier for US residents to watch being in US timezones, prime time viewing.

Fox One is the definitely the package to have for simplicity in watching all games

I no longer have TV cable subscriptions since it was removed as a perk from our HOA fees

HOA fees stayed the same, but they eliminated the cable TV subscription

I can get the full Fox One package through Roku now for $25 a month

Will probably do it during the WC for the simplicity

If a person does not want to pay for viewing games

Tubi is broadcasting many of the games for free

Tubi is owned by the same group that owns Fox

YouTube has recap highlights of the matches also.

Getting set to watch Canada's opening match from Montreal, they have a strong team this year with Jesse Marsch as coach, strong winning record.

US opening match later today.

Just when I thought it was safe to turn the local news on again because the elections were over for a while. Now everyone is yammering about soccer! I watch a whole lot of morning TV with the sound off until I give up and go find the History or Travel channels!

DH & I normally do not watch soccer (UK football to DH's family) but his cousin said we should at least watch Canada play. The game is being played in Toronto right now against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Toronto was loosing 1-0 then finally put one of their best players, Cyle Larin, in after he had spent most of the game on the bench and he immediately scored to tie the game! I do not understand the game but a I am enjoying listening to the Scottish accents of the play by play guys.

Game just ended -tied - no overtime (weird).

Just checked Amazon Prime
They make it look like it is part of Amazon Prime Subscription
But they are selling a Fox One Subscription
Just like Roku is doing

Tubi is free streaming of some of the games
