I love my kitchen....especially since I have lots of counter space and my husband is retired so he does the daily cooking and I have fun with "special meals":D
Anyway, a friend was over a while ago and mentioned that she loved the slide out baskets my husband installed for me in a lower kitchen cabinet. They are metal basket type containers on rails and slide out. I keep my tupperware and lids there and so it makes finding matches really easy.
Another cabinet works the same but I store potatoes, garlic and onions there...easy to seperate them because the bin slides out and I can see what I need from the top.
Now....I want to address a problem I have that others might be able to help solve. What can be done to make more efficient use of the corner bottom cabinets. Right now I use it to store seldom used heavy pots. I could install a lazy susan but there is a lot of wasted space. Anyone have a better idea?
 
My corner cupboard has big items in it: 2 crockpots, a canning pot, and a roaster. They take up a lot of room, but I don't use them every day, so I can push them back in the corner and make good use of space that might be hard to utilize otherwise.
 
Look at the Rev a shelf blind corner cabinet pull outs.

Not cheap but they have some smart pretzel shaped two tier units that make getting stuff in and out easy.

Like a lazy Susan on Roids.

Kessebohmer is another brand yo look at.

Utrusta from Ikea also.

My parents have these in their kitchen with two corners. They are great. Take a lot of weight also.

By corner cabinet, I'm assuming t is what is referred to as a "blind" cabinet. In other words, you open the door and you have to look to your left or right to see in, and has no selves.

If this is the case, there is a wire shelf system that you install that slides over and out . if your blind cabinet is to the left, you install on left, it pulls to the opening, (door), on bearings then it is on a hinge which permits it to pull out of the cabinet. You have exposure to its contents.

Mine has the lazy susan in it. I keep my large pasta bowls, which I never use anyway, and my work lunch bag in it (when not in use). That is about it. I could put a lot more in it, but I have enough cabinets so this one does not get used much.
 
Lots of options- I'm in the process of redoing my kitchen (yeah!) so I recently researched this to death. If it is a blind corner, then the Rev-a-shelf or similar designs work well, but if you have either an L hinged door or an angled door with front access then some of the lazy Susans are amazing. The ones for a 36" corner cabinet are really big, and Kornerking makes some very interesting retrofit designs, both with or without drawers. If you have a 33" cabinet, or a 33x36" cabinet, unfortunately the units are much smaller, but if you have a 36x36 you can put a whole set of pots in the corner cabinet if you want.
 
I have a lazy susan in the corner cabinet. There's really no other good way to make use of the space efficiently.

I want your slide out draws in all my cabinets!
 
I have a lazy Susan in my lower corner cabinet. It works great! Yes, there is some unusable space in the corners, but sure beats getting on my knees to see what's in the back of fixed shelves.

In our RV, it's a 3/4 circle lazy Susan. Think a layer cake with 1/4 of it gone, then the supporting center pole can be near the corner opening. The cabinet matching doors are hinged in the middle and along one side. They always seem to be in the way when open.

In another house, I had an under counter water heater dedicated for the kitchen in that corner.

[Edited to add] I also have a lower cabinet with glide-out shelves I use for large pressure cooker, wok and accessories, pasta pot, Dutch oven. I have 3 appliance garages on counter level with plugged-in toaster, blender, slow cooker, etc.

Just some thoughts.

I have 3/4 like lazy susans too. They're great ! Stores a lot, little wasted space. No pole. Just a susan on the bottom and another on a mid level shelf. With L hinged door. Ordered thru Costco about 8 years ago, Schrock cabinets.

We also have the 3/4 Lazy Susan. We use that space for storage containers. It's pretty efficient, IMO.

LOL! Yes! I do all my cooking on Sundays and our fridge is always filled with those storage containers!
 
In our house, our architect actually designed it so that the "corner" is used as a decorative cutout from the room on the other side of the wall. Not something that would be easy to change in an existing house, but something to consider when building/designing.
