We're going to head south, driving from Tennessee, for a few days this spring and we'd like to hear about your favorite gulf coast property. I think we want to stay north of Naples....

Has anyone stayed at the R-C Sarasota?

Stayed at Marriott Marco Island on reward points a couple of weeks ago, loved it.

Though thats a bit south of Naples.

RC In Sarasota is very nice. They have a beach club a few blocks away which you can drive or take the shuttle. Stayed there last summer for a weekend. The Ringling Museum is just north ( about 1 mile) from there and is a nice attraction as well.

The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. About as nice a resort as I have ever stayed at.

I stayed there around 2000 and it was unbelievalbe if you can afford it!

I stayed there for a corporate Board of Directors meeting. I could never justify the cost if I were paying personally.

We just returned from a week at the Hyatt Coconut Plantation in Bonita Springs and loved it. Beautiful pool area and very nice units complete with large screened in patios.
