Family Friendly Resorts

I am considering trading to Mexico--any suggestions on family friendly timeshare resorts to request? Also, I am not sure of what area--thinking Cancun.
 
In Cancun, the Royal Resorts are all very family friendly resorts. VCI (Vacation Club International) is on the bay side so the water is a lot calmer than the other 4 Royal Resorts (Sands, Islander, Carribean, and Mayan) which are all on the ocean side with the higher waves. All 5 have nice pools and great activities for kids, as well as adults.
