Fairshare points usage at Wyndham hotels?

Is it possible to use Fairshare points to book stays at the Wyndham family of hotels?

Yes, they demand high point values however, and are in my opinion, not a good use of points.

We probably also should define which Wyndham hotels you are asking about, there are a very few high end ones in the programme.

The one in St. Thomas, the Sugar Bay Resort and Spa one can book a hotel room from a low of 385,000 to a high of 581,000 points.

I was wondering mainly about trading points for stays at hotels in the wyndham family like Howard Johnson, Days Inn, Ramada, etc.

My wife and spend quite a bit of time in Tulsa, Ok due to family, and it would be nice to stay in a hotel every now and again.

There is a feature called PlusPartners which is gained with a Developer purchase and use of points for Hotel stays is one of the parts of PlusPartners.

This feature is stripped off and does not carry through on a resale purchase.

The feature can be reacquired for a price, think like for $2,400. Most would consider it not worth it.

You may want to look at the Wyndham Rewards program, formerly Triprewards, a credit card rewards plan which accumulates points toward stays in the very same hotels listed above.

You may also want to consider rent out your point and use that money to rent a hotel.
