My next door neighbors were flying today from Orlando to Washington and then on to Europe, so I'm sure they were caught, guess I'll need to wait until they come back to hear their story.

I believe my DIL and DGS were - flying from San Diego to Jacksonville, FL - diverted to San Antonio, then to Houston and spent the night in Houston when they missed the last flight of the night since they were late arriving at IAH. :( - However the airline blamed it on bad weather - they don't need to pay for a hotel for natural causes...:( anyway, they finally got there this morning.

We flew Alaska from Sea-Tac to Long Beach yesterday. The info was on the news monitors in the airport, but it didn't affect our flight or the flight to D.C. yesterday that left an hour prior to our flight.
