Extending deposited points

I have points which will expire at the end of May. I have heard that there is a way that I can extend my points for a year so that I don't lose them. How does that work?

If you extend points in order to complete a transaction, the cost is a flat $29 USD / $34 CD to save from 1 to 14,000 points or $.002 USD/ $.0024 CD per point if over 14,000 points.

If you extend your saved points when not making a transaction, the cost is $59 USD/ $70 CD to save from 1 to 14,000 points or $.004 USD / $.0047 CD per point if over 14,000 points.

For example, if you needed to save 25,000 points, and were completing a transaction, the cost to extend points would be .002 USD x 25,000 = $57.50 USD. If you only needed to extend 10,000 points, the flat fee of $29 USD would apply.
