BTW, you don't necessarily have to use the EP for the intended resort as stated in the EP. You can use it for any SVN resort if you do buy from the developer.

We were not permitted to apply our VV EP to a Harborside purchase, so YMMV.

I just recently did it (a VV EP applied to Westin Princeville). According to my salesman, technically you're supposed to use east coast EPs for east coast (including Caribbean, Cancun) resorts and west coast (including Hawaii) for west coast resorts. However, since you're buying from the developer, you can negotiate to have this rule waived.

Are there any current EPs out there that are good? Can I just call telesales and get one? Just thinking in case we purchase Riverfront sometime -- it would be nice to have this bonus.

didn't you get a call from starwood to go to the palm springs presentation, when you were referred?
in your case you should go to the new palm springs resort, sit through a presentation say you can't purchase now and then they will try to sell you an EP, which you will then be able to use to purchase at the riverfront.

I did! Just wasn't sure if that can go towards Riverfront or PS only. I was looking at the invite last night actually.
