I just recieved a call from exchange international, as a consumer advocacy group, who discussed getting some money back from a scam I fell for a couple of years ago. scammer was going to rent my timeshare for me for a upffont fee. now this company says they can get it back for me. "for another upfront fee. company is exchange international, llc says they are part of a consumer advocacy group.

sound like another scammer to me. but has anybody elso used them and did it work. would like to get some money back, but don't want to throw good money after bad.

I signed up, but fully intend to resind the package unless I can confirm validity of the company.

Exchange International used to Interval Property Management & Interval Realty

Exchange International is run by the same guys who ran a timeshare resale company named Interval Property Management & Interval Realty. Their names are Gabe Uhrig and Adam Wroblewski.

Interval is out of business after racking up a slew of complaints from timeshare owners who bought the up-front fee bait. Now many of the same owners are no doubt paying the same up-front fees to Exchange International to try to get their money back.

Exchange International basically tries to make companies who swindled you think you have a lawyer who will go after them. That's all.

So, if you got ripped off by Interval Property Management.....and you've hired Exchange International to try to get your money back you've been swindled by the same guys twice. You paid them not to market your timeshare and to go after themselves to try to get your money back.

I would love to know how many people paid money to Interval Property and/or Interval Realty and then got a call from Exchange International saying, "We've come to the rescue and can get your money back."

I'm not sure how much more plainly the moderators and posters on this site can be.....NEVER PAY AN UP-FRONT FEE.

Exchange International, Interval Property Management & Interval Realty [SCAM]

ah the old bait and switch and bait scam..

SCAM if you paid through credit card make sure you do either get refund or do a dispute with your cc company BEFORE 60 days from transaction date..

if they keep trying to stall 30-45 days out, do the dispute. that will force the issue and keep you in control..
