I made an exchange for Sunday - Sunday dates for a resort. Subsequently, I placed a request for Sunday - Sunday dates at the same resort; however, the response from Interval International was Friday - Friday booking. If I contact II, are they likely to revise to dates from Friday/Friday to Sunday/Sunday?

The only way they can change the dates to Sunday/Sunday is if they have that week available. In this case they would swap your week with another in their inventory. II has no ability to change a reservation.

If you are within 24 hours of the exchange confirmation you can call and cancel if it is not what you need. If you only can use Sunday/Sunday see if they have it to swap and if not cancel it.

Also, when you put in an exchange request online it internally defaults to a window that includes the first check-in day for that resort. To avoid this in the future give them a call after you put in the request and they can modify it on their end so it only looks for the check in window you need. Another of many examples of the sloppy programming of the II system.
