Email - notice of CLUB WYNDHAM plus Rule Violation

My impression is that what Hilton allows has nothing to do with what Wyndham thinks or allows. In short, I agree with @paxsarah. You can rent, you cannot rent commercially, and Wyndham gets to have first say about which is which. You took on these (and other) Club restrictions when you bought the UDI, and there is no underlying week to rent.

I agree that Hilton has nothing to do with what Wyndham does or thinks or allows. I was just having a discussion comparing the two.
 
FWIW, I do find these conversations valuable as another timeshare system I am heavily invested in (Disney Vacation Club) appears to be going down this road, and most of this was before my time on these boards. I don’t rent my DVC points (because lord knows I don’t ever have any extra I don’t use in a given year), but I am curious to see what kinds of strategies DVC uses to reign in commercial renting. I feel like Wyndham’s actions may be a road map here.
