eMachines class action suit?

HI,
Does anyone know if there has been or may be a class action suit against eMachines? We have one for our son and it is acting stangely - spontaneously restarting itself (not update related), low battery warnings (when it's a desktop and not a laptop)......
In researching this, I found where apparently many people have had the same problem - it seems there are models with bad power supplies. when the power supply goes, it burns out the motherboard! :annoyed:

Here's an example of the info I found on just one of the sites but all the other sites read the same way. The only thing is all the info is a couple of years old.........

The only actual suit I see is about overheating notebooks and it had a 2007 deadline to join. Check out this discussion for more info. And, BTW, there is a battery in desktops.

Hi Don,
Thanks for responding. The link you put in the post isn't working. The research I did, showed replacement power supplies for desktops. I know about replacing a battery in a desktop model but in my experience, when those go bad, things like the time and date are effected. That's not what's happening so I'm thinking that isn't the issue.........but that's an easy one to try!
