From what I could see this subject was briefly covered 2 1/2 yrs ago.
Just wondering if anyone has been seeing any charging stations at any resorts.
Or - If you have an electric vehicle - what have you been doing for charging when staying at Timeshares

I use the plugshare app and find places close by if the resort doesn't have one. The hyatt vacation clubs in carmel and tahoe have chargers.

Marriott's Kalanipu'u on Kauai has charging stations.

Four Seasons Aviara has a Tesla charging station outside our front door. ;)

There are plenty of EV charging stations in resort areas near here. The town has a Tesla SuperCharger station, and several hotels have their own.

I contacted my resorts to ask if they might consider installing charging stations. They said nope.

Here's a map of chargers: https://www.plugshare.com/

Until these become more main stream, you probably won't see a lot of resorts install them. Also, there is a cost not only to install but also to pay for the electricity. I think in some cases they can get some of the large electric car manufacturers to provide them with grants to install. With the current price of gasoline today and for the foreseeable future, I don't think many properties will be installing charging stations. For many, people are bringing rental cars and finding electric vehicles at one of those is pretty uncommon.

There is a charging station in the parking garage that serves Wyndhams National Harbor Resort (Washington DC) also at Wyndhams Bonnet Creek in Orlando
