El cid Ventus

We are staying at the new Ventus part of El Cid in Puerto Morales November 4 when it opens. Two free bracelets included. Does anyone have any information on this part of the hotel. El Cid offers very little. Last winter when we were there they were building it. We will have a swim up room.
 
Holy Cow. They're still building at El Cid? I checked the place out years ago while they were building. Lots of units already done. Maybe they built in phases?

Yes built in phases. They have a large master plan that people can see in the sales room. Very impressive but I really did and still do enjoy the original part of the resort. Swim out rooms sound great but not if i need to take a onsite shuttle to get elsewhere.
 
I have a friend who is interested in staying at El Cid Riviera Maya. Is it nice there? How is the food?
