Does anyone know how to get out of a ECVC contract? The membership is paid in full, but I doubt I will ever use it, and want to avoid paying maintenance fees. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It is a RTU (right to use) non deeded contract in Mazatlan Mexico
If you list it with details in the TUG sub forum - free giveaways you could get a taker

There Is also one or more threads in the Mexican Forum about the results of not paying MF's on Mexican RTU
contracts

IF the moderator @Karen G moves this to the Mexican Forum you are likely to get more feedback

When you stop paying the MF to a Mexican resort with no ties to the USA there is little they can do. Anything they do will cost them money. If they did pay to pursue an International debt , which they would be stupid to do and they wouldn't, they still can't force anyone to pay. They might sell the debt to a debt collector, but even then, that debt collector would need your cooperation to collect anything.

Yes, stop paying them.
