Were thinking about booking El Cid with our Wyndham points. Can we add on the All Inclusive (AI) option after booking with Wynhdham. I know you can do this with Extra Vacations / Last Call on RCI.

Has anyone done this?

If yes, what is the best way?

You can buy the AI package at check in

or anytime during your stay. I don't know the cost.

Mazatlan a few years ago was $50 for 24 hours. That was with an ECVC discount. They had a promotion of buy 3 days get 1 free but I found 24 hours at a time which included, two dinners was the better way. There is so many other great places to eat that it would be a shame to just stay at the resort.

We stayed at El Cid on an AI optional Exchange. We didn't buy the AI package, but tried out the food and drink at the Resort. We also had one day of AI as a "gift" for attending a "tour". We didn't like the food or drinks. The AI menu was different and shorter than the regular menu. The only advantage to the AI IMHO is that you don't have to pay taxis into town to get to other restaurants. I'd suggest you try out their food and drink and have a look at their menus before buying the AI.
