ebay listings like this almost make me cry for the seller

On top of your $60K you have to pay $1K for closing. Ouch. I like how the ad says "for a fraction of the price" - there is no way this unit cost $59K when it was originally purchased. Maybe by fraction they mean 7/3rd's.

But the salesman said that it would increase in value.

These ads are sad. It makes you want to send them a heads-up about TUG, but it most likely would not be well received under their circumstances. :bawl:

Buy it Now - button / Make an offer

My guess is that the $ 59 K Buy it now is just there to encourage bidders to make a "better" much lower offer - that is likely to be accepted if "reasonable "

Just thinking out loud - no idea what it is worth at resale .

I am seriously considering going price is right on them and putting in an offer for $1.

I paid $6500 for the exact same thing.

I don't feel bad for them!

It is a broker selling the package.... I feel sorry he was stupid enough to list this for this amount and pay the huge listing fee. But Hey I will offer him a $1.00 and hope he doesn't screw me. Since he only has a feedback rating of 95%

If the bid is too low, all he has to do is end the listing early and say that it's no longer available. I've had this happen to me before and there was nothing I could do about it.

What I have a hard time understanding is why three persons are watching this ad. Lol

The listing is set up to respond automatically to offers.

Tried $1, $25, & $2,500, which were all rejected...

I am pretty sure that add was previously listed at $5,999. Seller added a 9 at the end hoping it would sell? :ponder:

Does anybody know what was the developer price of this unit?

Black Friday TS special

I paid $6500 for the exact same thing.

So if final bid is $6500 / (+10% of Buy Now )- and gets accepted by seller
everyone is happy .

only 21 days to find out / Thanksgiving weekend what are you doing besides
watching football ,eating or SHOPPING .

how many people view most Ebay TS listing?
maybe ? -the $59K is there to get you to notice / read when your scanning
through TS flotsam.

By that logic... maybe I should list my 1BR bay club unit for $70,000.... :)

Make it stand out to sell it

I would ad neon lights or flashing LED's to the the 70K -
but seriously -maybe- this is all about bringing attention to the listing
and we are talking about it on a Friday night - right .

Yes, it was previously listed at 5,999... i got the notification when it was relisted, i assume the seller accidentally added the extra digit.. but i am not sure why they have not fixed the listing...

The rest of their eBay listings are at least within the realm of possibility...

7k points for ~$7K after closing.... it is almost reasonable... except for the high MF...

Just got the eBay notice, big price drop... Now "discounted" to $5,999... now its actually back in the world of reality....
