I am looking into buying ebay with a seller named dochoa77. Is he legit? And is the title company title outlet legit as well?

Thanks!

Just click on "search" at top.

than type dochoa77, and go into each thread to read it.

They are one of the eBay sellers, and has been around for a while.

Don't Do It.

First and worst timeshare (e-Bay) purchase I made. Mistakes in ad. Took months to resolve. I will never purchase from him. Save yourself the stress!

What kind of mistakes were in the ad? Were there like extra fees that were hidden that they did not reveal?

The Ad stated that maintenance fees and taxes were paid and buyer was to pay this back. Thransferred was delayed by timeshare company because the taxes were not paid.
After that was resolved l month.
Ad said 86,500 RCI points would be transferred. So I paid for Membership and first year fees for RCI
Then was notified by RCE that they were no Points as previous owners had used them. This took several months to resolved.
I paid for a timeshare and repaid maintenance fees and taxes for 86,000 RCI
points which did not exhist and also an RCI account I could not use for six months.

I would never have paid over $3000.00 for points I could not get for six months.

I have used his timeshare company several times. They are friends.

They are always slow. Good luck. Wait it will always show up again.

Doug Ochoa and his brother Tom run their postcard company in Florida. They also own the closing company they use. Others may have a different experience, but I bought two of my four timeshares from them off eBay, and I had no trouble whatsoever. I half-expected a horror story, based on what I was reading here, but I can truthfully say they delivered on everything they said they were going to do. I would buy from them again, if they had what I wanted to buy.

When one closing seemed like it would take longer than I wanted, and I felt I might lose valid use of the week I was getting as part of the purchase, Doug made a reservation in advance at my request, so when the deal closed I already had the reservation I wanted. He was very helpful to me.

My advice is to do your due diligence very carefully ahead of time, and make perfectly clear you're bidding on what you think you are. If you don't trust what you're reading, don't bid.

Good luck!

Don't get in a hurry - there is no shortage of timeshares for sale on eBay. Be patient, and stay alert. The right one will come along, at the right price, and you'll get yours soon enough. Hang in there.

One tip about eBay: Vary your search words. Sometimes auctions get misfiled, and nobody sees them. There are some real bargains there, if you dig deeply enough for them. I fell into a really nice oceanfront t/s in Hawaii last fall for less than $300.

I bought Star Island points from them in February and dealt with Jason. Initially they were very slow. But I did get the points as listed. Then I had trouble getting Wyndham to give me an II account. I called Jason just to make sure the previous owner had II account. He helped me straighten out the situation. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
