I saw this last night, very tempting. The 3 bd lock off offers a lot of options for trading, and the platinum would have excellent trade power.

Our first timeshare purchase was a MGV 3Br, platinum, annual (resale). No regrets. We have used the full 3 bedroom and locked off and exchanged the studio side and 2 bedroom side. Thanks to a Tug sighting, once we exchanged the studio back into a 3 bedroom at MGV over spring break. This year we used the entire 3 BR to exchange into an August week at Marriott's Newport Coast. For 2013, I'm going to try using the Florida club to reserve a 3 bedroom at Ocean Pointe.

You are probably going to have lots of Tug members bidding against you now since you posted this. ... not me, I need to sell a TS before I buy anymore. Do not bid until the final seconds. This sometimes helps keep the price down and it keeps you from bidding again in the heat of the moment. Decide what your max is and give it one shot.

By all means, wait and get what you really want. It might not come up every week, but it will come up.

do you need (2) different
(3) Bedroom: Marriott: Platimum: annual: Orlando,Fl. timeshares
to book the good weeks for Interval Marriott Trading
at 13 months, vs 12 months, for those that only own
(1) 3 bedroom: Marriott: Platinium: annual: Orlando,Fl Timeshares

or
not necessary?

Never had a problem booking MGV spring break or week 52 at the 12 month mark.
