After posting our ad in the bargain basement, we got an ad from EasyTimeshareDonation.com. They offered a deal where we sign it over to them for a fee somewhere between $495 and $995. Has anyone heard of this company? Have you dealt with them? The name that was on our message was Gus Darmani. We're just wondering if it's worthwhile, or if we'd be stuck with another problem. :bawl: Any insight you care to offer is welcome.

Any one that contacts YOU and wants YOU to pay is a scam operation. Ignore them.

Weinerdog - You only listed your timeshare for free on the TUG Bargain Deals forum on April 10th - why would you even consider throwing in the towel so soon?

Where else have you post a "free timeshare" Ad? Did you post it in the TUG Marketplace, or on Craigslist? I would not pay anyone a cent, until I made an earnest effort to give your timeshare away.

As far as pitfalls - the major concern with these kinds of companies is that they take your money, but sometimes don't transfer the timeshare out of your name. You find out when the maintenance fee bill arrives next year.

Wow! THANK YOU for your quick responses and insight. I'm SURE you saved us a lot of headache. Blessings on thee!
