DVC with RCI POINTS

Hi tugger,

I am member of RCI POINTS and my points came from a non-orlando area timeshare. My friend have a timeshare in Orlando area with RCI POINTS. He would like to book DVC, if he send is points to my account, do you know if i will be able to book a DVC resort?

I don't know if I would risk it. Do you have enough points to book without your friends and then after you have it booked with a guest cert, have the friend transfer his points to you?
