DVC exchange unit assignments and planning

With DVC no longer giving out reservation numbers and unit details for exchanges until 75 days out, how is everyone navigating this esp for those who are either members booking additional nights, renters adding additional nights or when coordinating multiple exchanges?

For the most part I think you can guess views. OKW will be general resort not HH, SSR will be resort not preferred, AKV is probably Savannah, BWV pool/garden, VWL doesn’t have views. That’s pretty much it. The biggest question mark is probably AKV.

And that was my focus plus trying to match up a points stay to the exchange. Historically my exchanges at AKV have been around 60% Savannah and 40% standard, usually Kidani. The other variable for AKV was the dedicated vs lock off but I would assume most would be the dedicated for a 2 Br. I did call and once I told them I was holding 2 reservations until I knew for sure, they managed to give me the info I needed to cancel one and keep the other but it was a struggle. I didn't want to hold the second reservation keeping it from someone else if I could help it but I would have if I had to to have a reasonable chance of not moving units.

I can’t recall anyone reporting a lockoff via exchange, though I suppose it could happen.
