Hello, I need to find out if it is possible to make two reservations at the same time at the same resort in my name? Or would I be better off putting one of them in someone elses name? Thanks.

You are not permitted to hold 2 reservations at the same resort under the same name. You can book them but then you have 48 hours to change them. I think you really have longer, but I haven't tested the frequency of the checking of the duplicate reservation. Apparently they system is suppose to automatically cancel the duplicates. I just don't know when exactly these processes are suppose to kick in.

Easy way around it is to hold it under another member name, one that will be traveling with you.

Is there another owner on your account in whose name you could put the second reservation? Depending on if the check in date of your reservation is in the next several weeks and which resort it is at Wyndham may cancel a reservation with a guest name. Hopefully your reservations are far enough out that the limited occupancy because of COVID-19 will be lifted so you won't have to worry if you need to add a guest name if you don't have a second owner on your account.
