Double Pane Window -- Repair or Replace?

I busted the outer pane of a double pane slider in my garage. Should I attempt to remove & replace the individual pane, or replace the entire double pane assembly? I understand that there will be no insulating properties if I do the former, but it is just the garage (unheated). My biggest concern is breaking the good pane attempting to replace the bad one.

Lastly, any ideas on what the costs will be for:

1) just the glass -- DIY
2) Entire assy -- DIY
3) professional repair/replacement on site

After some additional Googling I think I found my answer. Definitely seems to make the most sense to replace the entire IGU.
