Are any resorts in Minnesota or Wisconsin dog friendly?
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a good search for Google.

RCI and Interval Internationale are exchange companies that have a filter to show pet friendly resorts.

I did not know that! Found it! Thank you!
Let me know what you find please
I occasionally travel with my son and his dog
We primarily stay at Westgate, Vacation Village
or Eagle Trace at Massanutten because they have pet friendly accommodations

a forum that lists pet friendly timeshares would be helpful. It would help those that dont want to stay at such a place as well as those looking for them

Those that do probably have certain units designated as pet-friendly, and many more units that aren't. At least that was our understanding at Colonies at Williamsburg last week. It was our first timeshare exchange in over 25 years of timesharing where we got to include our dog, and we were grateful. I sure wish there were more of them.

We tried taking our dog to a few resorts but it was too much of a hassle, imo. The getting sick while traveling, new surroundings to find a place to potty and a few bad interactions with other pets and guests made us decide to leave our dog at home. Pets seem to be seen in the same way as smoking was.

II's pet-friendly search filter isn't up to date. I didn't take my dog, but I researched this back in 2020 in case I couldn't find a boarding facility. Most, if not all, of the Westgate properties allowed dogs. They charge an extra cleaning fee, but it is very reasonable and was cheaper than boarding fees in my area. They have breed and size restrictions. I don't remember the exact weight limit, but I have a lab that weighs around 70 lbs, and I remember joking that she might need to go on a diet a few weeks before vacation. ;)

Vacation village has pet friendly unis
