Does Treetops in Gatl. enforce guest certs?

Yes. As a matter of fact, they now insist on seeing a driver's license and comparing it with the paperwork you bring with you.

Both Treetops and its sister resort, Oakmont, are very picky about having the proper documentation. For example, if you are an owner at either of these resorts, you must provide your guests with a properly completed form that the resorts have developed.

A few years back, even before they had their form, I gave my sister and her husband the use of my week. I sent the resort a letter, and provided them with a copy to take with them. The letter said that my brother-in-law and sister, "Mr. & Mrs. John Doe", would be using my week. Well, there was an emergency at his workplace, so "John" had to work; his wife, my sister, invited one of her friends to go along. When they arrived at check-in, the staff refused to allow the two women to check in because neither one was "John Doe". After much hassle, the resort manager was called in and he had to make the decision that they could stay.
