Hey tuggers -- anyone still own a Dikhololo week? I do and have always had success depositing my week with rci by contacting DK first...

Last year there was a hiccup but it worked just as in year's past....but this year it's not...i'm not sure that they use RCI anymore...

....anyone know anything about this?...can you share the way you were successful banking your week...

THANK YOU for your help and sage advice...

This month I paid my Dikhololo mtnc fees for 2025 and asked that they deposit my week into my RCI account. They acknowledged that my mtnc fees were paid and assigned me a week that was to be deposited in RCI. One new wrinkle this year was that they sent an email saying I had to forward my reservation confirmation to specialists@rci.com (I think that was the email address), and if I didn't do that, the week would not be deposited. RCI responded with an auto-response saying they received my request and that they were behind with email requests. However, the very next day the week was in my RCI acount.

What was the TPU value you got?

Hi, This is my first year owning a week with Dikhololo. Does anyone have any tips for paying the levy and getting the week banked with RCI from US? I'm awaiting a reply to an e-mail I sent to blp@beekmanlifestyle.co.za about paying the 2026 levy via credit card.

I once owned three weeks there, but downsized. The last one I let go when I heard that RCI was going to purchase the DAE franchise in the UK, where I had been trading it. I bailed out of RCI when they brought in RCI Points and Points Lite ("TPU's). Even before that, RCI had on two separate occasions arbitrarily downgraded SA trading powers for American members. Curiously, I ran into a South African couple during a timeshare exchange in Europe who owned at Dikhololo and we compared notes about what Dik would put for them as South African members compared to its latest downgrade for US members, and it was a big difference. Essentially, for South Africans who still owned there, it was still a tiger trader but for US owners its trading power had been arbitrarily downgraded.

Under previous management, I had used a European copy of the RCI directory which had a very useful supply demand index by month for resort areas to determine which of the floating weeks had the most power and asked for and got assigned them. When management changed, they refused to assign requested weeks and just gave what week they wanted to. But it still worked fine for DAE deposits.

We owned a dikholo week used it for many years it just was difficult to figure out the rand and use it in RCI. We sent back the original deed and they took it back without any problems. Good luck with dikholoho. .

Thanks! My dad gave this to me, he and my mom had Dik and another at Mt. Amanzi since the 90's. It does seem to be more difficult to deal with than when mom was doing it back in the day. I finally got Beekman to send me a form to use for payment, if it isn't worth it this year I may just let it go!
