Just noticed that DVC owners can buy discounted annual passes at $999 pp. Curious if anyone is taking that and made it worth for you.
They’re not discounted. They’re a lower tier of annual pass with Thanksgiving & Christmas-New Years blacked out that is normally only available to Florida residents. I’m DVC & AP holder, but we go during Christmas-New Years so I have an incredipass. I’m also a resale only owner so not eligible for the other AP.

According to what I found you still have to pay for parking at Universal Orlando
Not for the top two tier AP’s. And the top one (which is what we have) gives you express pass after 4:00 pm. I have no regrets about that purchase, although we still have young kids and go to the parks frequently. The top tier pass not only gives you free parking, it gives you free prime or valet parking.

It takes two trips a year to break even on tickets.. 20% off F&B is nice - does it apply to resaurants in DVC resorts?
Yes, it applies to nearly every table service restaurant on property.

I was just telling Rick, as we are going to the DVC sales' pitch tomorrow, that our DVC membership is a bargain because the $999 pass is something we all get as DVC members and cannot get as FL residents because we are not FL residents. 8 adults (us, three kids and spouses) and 7 grandkids. That's 15 annual passes, but as I mentioned above, only 7 that we will definitely renew every year.

Our daughter and her family only get AP's every couple of years. Our oldest son and his family plan to get them every-other-year. Our #2 son and his family will get them every year because they all love Disney. His twins are just 2, but in January they turn 3, so they will be getting passes. $450 X 7 passes every year is a big savings as DVC members. If we all get them one year, 15 X $450 is big savings. The annual fees pay for themselves.

My pitch to Rick is that more OKW that expire in 2057 is totally worth it. He said, "We will be 102 (probably dead) when they expire." Yep.
