Do InnSeason Resorts points have any worthwhile RCI value?

Looking to help my in-laws maximize the value of their InnSeason vacation club points and am wondering if RCI is the way to go. Does a New England based vacation club has any value (say as compared to Florida, etc?) Also, any good introductory resources out there to help get started with RCI? Like timesharing, it feels like the entire ecosystem is designed with so many moving piece and levels as to make its use more difficult. Thanks for any insight.
 
I would venture to say with a deposit in the right season, this New England system should have decent TP. Innseason is also affiliated with II so they have options.

What is the right season? Summer at any of their resorts.
Winter in NH, especially Presidents week.
Fall Foiliage in NH, estpecially something the covers Columbus Day weekend.
