Hello,

I was looking at a few places to see if i should get this 3 BR or look for one that is a little bit more capacity.

The place I am looking at says 3BR/6Private/8 max capacity - me and another family we travel with both have a 1 year old that sleeps on the bed with us during trips. Does that count for the capcity meaning only 2 other people can take the other BR? Reason why i ask is before i invite another family that is a family of three with an older kid.

Thanks!

Edit:

Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France if that matters

Unless someone here has specifically asked the resort and can provide you with documentation all you will get here is anecdotal answers from people who have had more than the listed capacity in the room and not been challenged.
If you really want to be sure you need to ask the resort if you can have 6 adults, 1 child and 2 one years olds in the 3 bedroom. Get a name of the person you speak to or get the answer in writing if possible.
You should also be sure to look at the bed situation and be sure it will work for you with 3 families staying.
Good Luck- we really enjoyed it there! This was the email for the conceirge when we were there in 2017 Anita.Dubos@vacationclub.com

You will certainly want to confirm. I beleive hotels in Europe are required to take a copy of the passport of everyone staying in the room. It isn't like you can sneak anyone in.

When we have stayed in Europe on many occasions:
I do not remember showing a Passport at check-in at any hotel. Maybe things have changed since 9-11-2001.

To the OP, please ask your travel agent for the correct information or contact the hotel in Europe for the correct information or the Department of State for the current travel regulations.

Every American citizen traveling to Europe must have a current / valid U.S. Passport . Again, the very best source of information is the Department of State.

They are currently behind in approving Passport issuing because of staffing shortages.

My understanding is they do count toward occupancy. I'd check with the resort to be sure.
