Today I'm buying Disneyland park tickets. I am using the Disneyland app. It's odd that if I buy multiple days, like two days, the ticket cost is $330 but if I buy the ticket as a single day it's only $142. I must be doing something wrong but I've done this twice and come up with the same pricing. Any help appreciated.

I noticed the same thing when pricing out a vacation, it seems to be a weird quirk at Disneyland where single day tickets have variable pricing depending on the date but multi-day tickets have fixed pricing, so if you are traveling during off-peak times two single-day tickets can be less than one two-day ticket.

It was an odd thing. I bought the tickets using the one day for one park option for about $268 instead of $330 per person per ticket with the two day option.

Nah, that happens sometimes on some days, especially if you are going at a very low crowd time of year.

Spring Break time. If this is low crowd days that works for me. My wife and I aren't going on any rides is what I think. I'm guessing I will be bored. Very bored. One of the kids is 10 and probably not tall enough to do some rides so she will be my job which should be fun.

We used to go to Disneyland a lot since we lived only an hour away, and back when I was a kid it was affordable and so crazy crowded. There is plenty to do, even if you don't do any rides. I remember one trip I made with a group of friends where all we did was go shopping. A ten year old, unless they are really short, should be tall enough for all of the rides.

Well shoot. I was hoping for a reprieve from the rides. Good to know that there is plenty to do . We were at Disneyland maybe 15 years ago and it wasn't my thing really.

As a kid, and even as an adult before it got so expensive and crowded, I loved it.

Unless she is small for her age, or there is a fear factor, I'm guessing she will be able to ride most rides.

I think so. Looking at the height chart I think she will be fine.

Maybe Easy has the fear factor! I would for roller coasters.

I didn't until you brought it up just now, lol. I wonder if there is an upper age limit or medical limit for some of the rides ?

There are signs on some rides warning guests not to go if you have heart or back conditions, or are pregnant. I'll assume that the latter isn't your problem.

That's funny.

Back when Universal Florida was one park, they ran a special (through Coca Cola, as I recall). You could buy a one year pass with a label. We have an odd February vacation in New England and the year we were going, the next year's vacation would be within the one year mark so I bought three. We went to Universal - my daughter, her friend and I - more times than I can remember - probably 8 or 9. Back when it was one park with hints of the second. One of the last days we went, I brought a book. As we went through security, the guard looked in my purse and started to laugh. "Don't we give you enough to do here?" My answer was, "not anymore but good try." I truly did find a shady spot and had the best day of my life at an amusement park. So did the girls (13 at the time).

My current plan is to go with the flow. I will bring ear buds but I doubt I have much of a chance to use them. The kids will want beverages, and snacks, and rides, and stuff and I'm willing to buy it, lol. I think I will be kind of popular in that respect.
