Disney ticket question

I've run into an issue with making park reservations. Apparently, with non-dated tickets, you must make a reservation so we have to plan ahead for the family. I discovered that 2 of our tickets are NOT park hoppers so I'm trying to use those for reservations when I'm sure we won't be hopping. It is all so confusing. I'll be getting to Lightning Lanes in a couple of weeks. Disney is way more complicated these days.

Keep in mind that you can make or change park reservations as late as the day of your visit. They rarely sell out except for extremely busy days such as Christmas. So you can wait until the day before you buy your LL to book reservations, if that makes it easier to plan your schedule. You could even wait until the morning you’re booking LLs, but if you’re wanting any of the high demand rides e.g. Slinky Dog, it’s best to have those park reservations made before 7AM Eastern so you don’t lose any LL booking time.

PS to change a park reservation, you need to cancel the one you have for that day, or else it won’t show you availability at the other parks.

Got it. I was able to get things changed already. We'll be there spring break so I understand that there is a chance that MK could be sold out. Thanks.
