No problem. I just thought there might be an expert here that I can ask off the record.Sorry, but very much *not* my area of expertise.
If you are wondering if Disney World will accept non-expiring tickets of any era, the answer is YES! There are TikTok/IG videos where people found non-expiring 30+ year old tickets in a parents/grandparents home, they took the tickets to WDW, and they were allowed in. But, they must be for admission, decades ago WDW sold tickets for rides, so those are not eligible. It's in regard to really old non-expiring tickets we have.
I have old the Disney Five (5) passes plus the water parks. The problem is I have no ideas where they are located after more than forty (40) years LOL.Our friends still have the tickets that were the original passes with the pluses to use at water parks (and Disney Quest when there was such a thing). They go every two years or so and visit every park in a single day with those tickets. We did two parks in one day last December with them. It was too much walking for a single day, but I think it's great that they can still use and even abuse those tickets a bit.
I still have 2 of the 4 day plus 4 plus option tickets. I think they were FL only. They expire in 6 months once used but don't have any other limitations. I'm pretty sure they too are park hoppers.I have old the Disney Five (5) passes plus the water parks. The problem is I have no ideas where they are located after more than forty (40) years LOL.
Doesn't Disney still sell those types of passes from time to time? I recall them offering them at one point over the last few years. I don't think they would map these to an AP?I still have 2 of the 4 day plus 4 plus option tickets. I think they were FL only. They expire in 6 months once used but don't have any other limitations. I don't recall seeing those exact types in a long time but what they have done is sell 3 & 4 day discounted passes that have certain dates where they are good usually for FL residents only. They do have special tickets for Military, conferences and currently, Disney Plus I believe. Actually they have an option right now that must be used by Dec 23. That's the very reason I still have these passes remaining and have only recently reassigned some of the non expiring tickets because often when we go they have the 3 or 4 day FL resident specials and I've judged it better to buy one of those than activate a pass. The Military tickets are not available to veterans unless they are either active duty or actually retired military, other veterans do not qualify for the tickets nor for shades of green with some limited exceptions.Doesn't Disney still sell those types of passes from time to time? I had maybe 30 tickets that I bought around 15 years ago. These were a combination of a special ticket that was good for 4 days within a 6 month time frame once activated, 7 day non expiring park hoppers, 10 day non expiring park hoppers with 10 plus options (water parks), several annual type pass vouchers and several pass renewal vouchers. All were honored except the renewal vouchers, they gave me a gift card for the value of each one. While tickets often are stated as non expiring, many actually have an expiration date but way into the future.I've found Disney to be very helpful w ith tickets. We had old nonexpiring times I found that I bought for my kids when they were under 10, they're in their 20s. DISNEY TOLD ME THEyd be honored and they were I've found old times I were not sure if they were good or not. They looked em up and told me which ones were or were not.
I'm not sure, I'd check with them. They refused to honor the pass renewal vouchers other than a gift card. Two of our passes said expires 2030 and they acted like they would expire. It was interesting because they all were the same purchase date, I suspect it was just how it was entered into the system when they did so.All of our comp tickets, as well as our nonexpiring from 2005 that were converted into new tickets 10+ years ago have printed expiration of 12/2029. I'm guessing that WDW would give a new comp ticket if one got past 2029. We've still got 10 park days (and 30+ WP&M) on an assortment of tickets.
My sister had some non expiring tickets, and Disney still accepted them . Go to MyDisneyexprience website.Thanks. This is a specific question that I've been given conflicting answers. It's in regard to really old non-expiring tickets we have. I just don't want to explain details in a public forum.
