ha, i actually sent an email about this today as i found a similar broken one with a worldmark link. going to try to setup a redirect from these old url paths to the new ones while i track them all down and correct!

in the meantime i have edited the link in the post and it should display all dvc points resales and rentals now.

I rented 2 DVC vacays in the past 4 months - upcoming stays. I used Redweek first for a Disneyland trip and it worked beautifully. I had reserved the HGVC PS for my trip in Oct 2025, and I kept looking via Redweek and the link above. I went over to David - put in a request and within minutes, I was told the dates i wanted were not available - BUT they list what they did have and I choose Alternative choice #9. Cost wise it was a few dollars more, but someone else did they searching. I’d still be looking as I have been for the past 3 months.

I’d definitely use David’s again. You need to be flexible with your dates. I am.

I wouldn't say not allowed, but it does seem they are making moves to crack down, particularly on the often-cited but always vaguely defined commercial renting.

Not at all. They are cracking down on businesses that buy up large numbers of contracts (and then rent out DVC reservations) for commercial use.

And there has yet to be a report of DVC cracking down on anyone. At this point the only change is a checkbox where you must confirm the reservation is for "personal" use when making a new reservation.

Thanks! Appreciate the quick answers. We have a number of Embarc members interested in direct exchanges with Disney owners and someone said these weren't permitted...

I completely understand it all and their thought. I was going on my first solo trip soon and my cousin decided to join me last minute. II tried to add her name myself but had to call. I did think it was silly of them asking me to agree to the new terms adding my cousin when I am the member/lead staying.

My son was asked the same for his reservation. I can see asking/agreeing when the lead is a different name from the member. Whatever, no biggie. It is standard practice for all reservations.

I would have no qualms *at all* telling !e,ber Services that a direct exchange was for personal use. It’s not a rental. It’s an exchange.

The bigger question is finding any DVC owners who are also interested.
