Use MOD for the corporate/promotional code. You may be able to get 35% off. There is a thread about this from the Marriott sticky.

I think the MOD only applys to Marriott Timeshares and not Marriott Hotel Stays.

Generally, Chris is correct. However, there are a very few international hotels that occasionally offer the MOD discount. The one for which I have seen it most often is the Marriott hotel in Phuket.

It's not a MVCI-specific trick, but in the Ohio / Pennsylvania region, you can purchase Marriott Gift cards through Giant Eagle supermarkets using their "loyalty" card, then get back 12% of the purchase amount in gasoline discounts... if you think carry enough gas cans to get the full 30-gallons allowed in a single fill-up.

Discounts on hotels
There is a list of Marriott discounts on the hotel sites. It has boxes that you can check for senior discount, AAA discount, etc. Most of the hotels have a weekend rate (Friday and Saturday) but you must ask for it. There are also special promotions and the weekly Marriott Getaways sent to your e mail address.
