Disappearing Websites?

Under the Non-Traditional Interval Ownership forum, there was a short discussion about the disappearance of the High Country Club website yesterday http://www.highcountryclub.com. Today, the website of my home resort, Smugglers' Notch, VT http://www.smuggs.com seems to have disappeared.

For you computer experts out there - is this coincidence, or is something bizarre happening with the web?
 
Most likely problems at the ISP or with a major Internet access point. Weather can affect this as well as power issues. Best guess is they will be back up soon.

Well, the Smuggs site is already back up. It's interesting that when I tried to access HCC yesterday, I was redirected to Earthlink.net, which I've never used before. I was also redirected to Earthlink.net when I tried to access Smuggs a few minutes ago.
