They seem to have adjusted to the times to increase revenue. They will capture customers who order online and ensure their product is purchased.

COOL - I am extremely disappointed to learn that Country of Origin Labeling does not apply to meat. You can walk into a grocery store and pick up a piece of produce and see where it was grown.

This is not true for meat. The US border neighbors were successful in getting this eliminated. They said it violates treaty agreements. I don't understand this. And, I do not specifically have a problem with our border neighbors. I question why we would need to import meat?
Oh! Yeah, it's cheaper and other countries may not have the same high screening standards we have. :( *sigh*

Again, not singling out our border neighbors. US-located (and globally-owned) meat packing companies import animals. The package will say, "Product of USA" but that's because it was packaged here and not necessarily grown here:(

These policies our hurting our US meat producers. These are not jobs that need to be moved overseas. I'll pay more to buy locally produced meat :)

There are smaller meat ordering farms/companies that are not imported that you can order online.
