Difference between Sheraton Vistana Resort and Sheraton Vistana Villages?

I can see that in II, Sheraton Vistana Resort is a gold premiere resort, while Sheraton Vistana Villages is blue elite. Naturally, I assume the blue elite option is nicer. Can anyone give any more info about what the differences are between the two? What makes the "Villages" option better/nicer than the other? Thx!
