Posted this on FB initially.

A little pissed right now. I did an owners presentation at Lagoon tower with Alison while staying at the Grand Islander this past weekend. I saw my 70k points get deposited on Friday but then on Sunday after I get home I see the points where removed out of my account. I keep trying to call Hilton and they tell me to call HGVC but of course when I call HGVC they say I need to call Hilton! First time I ever seen points removed and can’t get a reason.

If you’re unable to get Hilton Grand Vacations to reinstate it, file formal complaints with the Attorney General’s office and the FTC. It might not resolve the issue, but at least it will light a small fire.

Definitely reach out to the sales office and tell them what happened. Let them try to fix it. If they can't, then reach out to corporate and/or submit what happened on the contact us page in the HGVC portal. There is a drop down on that page for sales presentation.

I am not sure that I have seen them pull points back from attending a sales meeting....if anything, they should double it for all the pain and suffering...:)

Thank you for the tip!

I’ve done a number of presentations in the past years. This is the first time seen or heard of them pulling it back. I sadly got rid of my presentation slip. Been trying to call the grand islander to get the concierge who signed me up and can’t find the number for their sales number

The only time I have had the points pulled back was when I didn't do the presentation. We canceled an HGV promotional stay in Vegas for 2024, and they deposited the promised points into my account on the day we were scheduled for the presentation. I thought Wow, that was easy points, but they figured it out and pulled them back. I did not complain as we had not really earned them.

It may be that they messed up on on logging your attendance. I would call the GI front desk and ask for the sales office
