We just rewatched Mary Poppins on Thanksgiving and I'd forgotten how talented he was until I saw him in that role again. Julie Andrews was so enchanting that she kind of overshadowed Dick in my memories but he was such a great dancer and singer I loved watching him this time.

I love Dick van Dyke - I loved Mary Poppins, and remember enjoying him in the CBS show Diagnosis Murder for years with my dad in the 90s.

too bad MTM won't be there. I'm too young (I guess) to have watched them back-when, but I've watched a few of the DVD Show and all of the MTM SHow on streaming over the last decade. I'll take MTM every day. Much funnier, and easier to look at too.
I'm no SJW, but I can almost get triggered watching the DVD Show. WOW, did they treat MTM like an also-ran.
