Diamond Resorts transfer delays

I bought a timeshare back in July at a Club Navigo resort. Right about that same time Club Navigo and Island One were bought by Diamond Resorts. Diamond is sitting on a 60-90 backlog on transfers and this is only after they receive the transfer packet and enter it enter their queue system.

If you purchase any of their resorts you will need to allow a 6 month closing period to be on the safe side regarding any usage. Discount your purchase price accordingly to account for potential lost usage. This longer than usual delay is not the fault of the seller or closing company.
