I have a resale Polo Towers Villa that is tier 6 and in DEX.I don't know if it is Tier 6, but Polo Towers in Las Vegas is a property that is often mentioned in regards to DEX.

It is, because I am in DEX with a resale deeded Polo Towers. No one seems to know for sure if a resale deeded Polo Towers can be enrolled in DEX.
When did you purchase? Is it enrolled automatically? And is there any club fee?It is, because I am in DEX with a resale deeded Polo Towers.
I have stated on multiple threads that I had DEX with a DRI/HGV resale. I have used it with DEX to get Vidanta Grand Luxxe units three times. DEX was free with the TS.That does seem to be a big issue. Lack of information on what properties can be enrolled, what can be enrolled for the annual membership fee and what properties have enrollment complementary through the HOA. Getting this information is nearly impossible because customer service can tell you one thing yet when you try to apply it in practice, it doesn't work that way. We really need first hand, but if there is any those people aren't willing to share. I know some have said that Sedona Summit resales can be enrolled as I have seen some mention it here.
No club fee, only a yearly MF. Great trader. When did you purchase? Is it enrolled automatically? And is there any club fee?
Good to know. I had seen your posts before, thus why I had actually mentioned Polo Towers. I didn't remember if it was resale or not.I have stated on multiple threads that I had DEX with a DRI/HGV resale. I have used it with DEX to get Vidanta Grand Luxxe units three times. yeah, just realized and good for you. But it may not be true for recent resale Polo Towers. This happened to Marriott or Vistana, or DVC as many perks were "grandfathered" up to certain date.I have stated on multiple threads that I had DEX with a DRI/HGV resale. I don't know if we can actually compare to other resort systems since they all do things differently. Do you have any reports of recent resales where people have reported not being able to enroll in DEX?yeah, just realized and good for you. But it may not be true for recent resale Polo Towers. That's right. That's why I have doubt 'caues I don't see any report of recent resales enrolled in DEX.I don't know if we can actually compare to other resort systems since they all do things differently. But you haven't seen any new resale buyers reporting that they couldn't? Just the absense of people who have? That could be the result of a lack of knowledge about DEX and also DRI resorts being something that isn't sought after on the resale market. People can't get rid of them because no one wants them. That's right. That's why I have doubt 'caues I don't see any report of recent resales enrolled in DEX.
I will need to defer to the Diamond owners but I would think that all DRI properties will be enrolledSo, is it generally understood that if a property is in the guide then it can be enrolled in DEX? Regardless if it is a developer or resale purchase?
How would you know if they are resale or not? In the system, they are just a week to use. That's right. That's why I have doubt 'caues I don't see any report of recent resales enrolled in DEX.
Good to know. Is this from your EU DEX? I am curious if EU DEX and US DEX share inventory. There are over 1,400 weeks available between now and January 2027 at Polo Towers

It is but I think that they have the same inventory.Good to know. Is this from your EU DEX? I am curious if EU DEX and US DEX share inventory.
My guess is lots of owners like myself are not using their weeks and instead using DEX to make trades. That's been what I have been doing with my deeded week for years now. It's a good trader (Marriotts, Vidanta Grand Luxxes, Palm Springs). There are over 1,400 weeks available between now and January 2027 at Polo Towers

Wouldn’t HGVC using DEX nullify some of the benefits of them trying to sell MAX?With all the speculation on the timeshare Tuesday recap on RCI/II and their use going forward, and my comments on mini systems bringing some competition - how much does DEX charge for an exchange? Any thoughts on if DEX might open up more and be run as a more obvious competitor to RCI? I wonder if HGVC might eventually go all DEX for exchanges rather than RCI - presumably once whatever contract expires that they have...
There are Marriotts in DEX? I thought those were just in II
My bad. Sorry, the Polo Towers trades to Marriotts were with II when I was with them (before DEX).There are Marriotts in DEX? I thought those were just in II
Not really, any more than HGVC using RCI nullifies benefits of HGVC Legacy (or Max).Wouldn’t HGVC using DEX nullify some of the benefits of them trying to sell MAX?
Hilton isn't in DEX and except for a few locations (like Craig), doesn't have access to DEX. Max is being primarily sold as being a way to get into Hilton since Embarc and Diamond have DEX access but no Hilton access.Wouldn’t HGVC using DEX nullify some of the benefits of them trying to sell MAX?
