I am waiting to deposit a summer Cape Cod week for 2011. It is week 34 (last week of August). I don't know what to do , experienced Tuggers help, deposit now or wait for the new RCI program to roll out. I currently have 3 weeks banked , two of them see 143,000+ units and (1) sees only 78,000 units.

If your option is to deposit it now or deposit it later, I don't think it will make much difference. When the new program rolls out, you'll get what you get under that system with existing deposits.

If your option is to deposit it to RCI or wait and see and possibly to an independent or II, I'd personally wait.

I've seen a substantial drop in one of my weeks on deposit with RCI in the last two to three weeks and I think that does not bode well for that particular deposit under the new system. So if I had the option to withdraw my week and deposit it with Interval I would probably do that - unfortunately, I'm stuck with RCI this year.

The "credit value" reportedly does not decay until 9 months prior to use. So, you will have a week to decide whether to deposit to RCI at full value, or use elsewhere.

That is, if you believe RCI on not changing values. Remember every time RCI monkeys with values, they have then claimed they did not. They don't have a very good track record for honesty on that subject. So take any of their statements on that subject with a grain of salt.
