Depositing Wyndham FIXED 2013 week unit from Shawnee resort has the resort staff telling them - no can do. The owner was a fellow guest from my recent Pompano trip who email this question to me.

I had told him he would have to pay some version of the 2013 MF fees for the deposit, but the resort would most likely have a policy in place. His inquiry from the resort is - can't deposit 2013 now; only 2012.

Call who at Shawnee or is there a Fixed week power at corproate Wyndham? Or is this something RCI can connect the dots?

Sometimes you can't deposit a week until 12 mos. out from check-in. Is he within 12 mos. of the fixed date?

I have a couple of Wyndham fixed weeks and could always just deposit them at will online at RCI. Now, I cannot - there is a remark where the deposit button used to be that says I must call in and speak to a guide to deposit the unit. I just noticed this the other day and haven't called to find out what's going on - Wyndham has no right to control my fixed week deposit the way they do my points! I wonder if your friend is encountering something like this?

Thanks for mentioning that. I used to do the same with my fixed weeks from Wyndham. I had forgotten that little issue.
