Depositing SDI with II

Question just bought a Annual 1-52 on Ebay, I called sheraton
and they said they can only deposit the week that the timeshare is deeded to. Is that correct, can I call and request a week and then deposit the week ? . The week is not deeded to a good week and I am concered if they deposit a summer week by trading power will be limited.
