I just called Wyndham Customer Service to deposit/bank my upcoming October points for future use. I was under the impression that this way required prior to the Use Year. The CSR indicated that a change has occurred, and that now we have 3 months after the Use Year begins to deposit the points.
Is this everyone's understanding? Did I get the correct information?

Yes, that's true. VIP status gives you more time (can't remember the details right now.) This changed last May.

Keep in mind it's not the credit pool you're accustomed to... you will need to pick a use year for your deposit.

Points can be deposited to a future Use Year (1 or 2 years in the future) but you have to be in the current year to do it. The following deadlines apply:

3 months - Regular member
6 months - Silver VIP
9 months - Gold VIP
12 months - Platinum VIP
