Depositing late

I could possibly run into a little problem i am scheduled to go to the Sheraton Desert Oasis from mid february to mid march however due to circumstances we may not be able to stay our last 2 weeks. Question is to late to deposit these weeks into II? If i due cancel these two weeks do i lose them? Or do i try to rent them out? Not sure what is best avenue to take.

If these are voluntary resale weeks, then I think you can cancel up to day before checkin. Then you would still have until 12/31/2022 to make a deposit to II or book a new home resort reservation.

From what I understand, the 60 day cancellation policies only apply to weeks in VSN.

If this is StarOption reservations, then you will end up with restricted StarOptions if you cancel inside 60 days along with a cancellation fee.

Thank you so much for this information this is extremely helpful my wife and are extremely concerned about this as we have been looking forward to the month away (canadians) now we face a situation at home that requires us to be home but yet another border shutdown is looming so we may have to cancel all our weeks, thanks for giving me some hope.
