Hello!
This is a very beginner question….if I deposit my week into interval but don’t find anything I would like to exchange it for, can I still use the original week, or do I lose it when I deposit at the beginning of the process?
Thanks so much!

Once deposited, you no longer have control of that originally deposited week. However, my guess would be that if nobody else has exchanged into your deposit, you could probably "exchange" back into it.

Once you deposit, you relinquish all usage rights to the week. You can set up a request first ongoing search though. That way if your exchange doesn't come through, you can cancel the request and have use of your original deposit.

If your home resort allows "request first", you can search without making a deposit. This allows you to "retain" your week for home resort usage.
If not, you must "deposit first" in order to set up an ongoing search request. As soon as your unit is deposited, it is visible / available to all other II members who may wish to exchange into it.
