Is this the one where Fern used to live? She invited us to her home one time and showed us the project. It is really nice but it would be too far away from the ocean for us. One really has to consider the climate too when you relocate. I have no idea what the climate is like in Tennessee?
We have major developments by pulte in our city. Much of the problems with any builder lies with building code for that city and how do they are enforced. Having been a councilman, and in charge of representing the building department and architectural review board, the best thing you can do is to check out who, and how those rules are enforced for where your building. The worst sinerio is that and agency outside the cities or township, or what ever they are called in the state your building in is regulated locally. Not by the county or state. Many of these type communities lye outside local jurisdictions, lack the ability to properly control standards. In our city, pulte wanted to come in and build two different layouts creating a row house apearence. We also had several builders come in built one house, tell us we were too strict and added too much to the cost of a home. Pulte builds a solid home, but must be controlled. But that's true with all builders.
Pulte built the home I live in today and I'm not a Pulte fan.
