Hi all - I'm new here and a new owner of MFC and was hoping someone can help me decipher what UV*0342*32*B means in deed info. I think its unit 342 week 32 in gold?

Thanks

John,

I am a owner at MFC as well and I don't know what it specifically means either, but I do know that your deed will be for a specific unit for a specific week because that is the only way they can assign it on a deed. I think all other properties (for the most part) work the same way with deeded ownership. Your usage rights, however, depend on your season, # of bedrooms, and view - the view would also be specified in the deed. Since all MFC units have the same view, that won't really matter unless you are trading somewhere else. Most importantly you are not restricted to that one unit or week.

I am sure someone else knows the breakdown of the code, but I think you are mostly right. I am thinking the UV mean ocean front.

B would be referring to "Both" --- meaning not just "even" or "odd" year weeks, but EVERY YEAR.

that is correct
B is both Annual usage
E is for even EOY usage
X is for odd EOY usage

32 is the week that is deeded and 0342 is the unit

Thanks guys. I know the specific unit shouldnt matter given the great views and its a floating week in season but im curious as to the unit location. Is there a list anywhere that shows unit numbers with respect to bldg and floor?

0342 refers to bldg 3 (Tortola), floor 4, room 2. I have unit 0213, Bldg 2 (Virgin Gorda), floor 1, room 3. Bldg 1 is Jost Van Dyke and bldg 5 is St John.

I think the UV is for the resort. Meaning USVI/St Thomas. Our Grand Vista unit has GV and Harbour Lake is HO (Horizons Orlando).

John, again the unit number is just a number on the deed - chances areslim that you would ever end up in that unit. The important thing when you make the reservation is to request the buildings/floors/units that you want (or don't want). If you don't request you will get whatever they have when you check-in. If you are a deeded owner and using your week, you will have (should have) a higher priority than someone trading in or using points, or on the prersentation junket.

Jim stated earlier where the room is. Your deeded room has a pool/hotel/ocean view - only one elevator or set of steps to get to the pool and beach.

Thanks again, looking forward to many happy vacations down there.

Btw dioxide is right the UV is the Marriott resort code, they use 2 letter codes for each resort as opposed to the 3 letter II codes we all seem to use.
